Work While Study in Canada
Students enrolled in full-time studies (part-time only if you are in your last semester) are no longer required to get a work permit to work off-campus. With the study permit, students will be authorized to work off-campus for up to 20 hours per week during their academic session and full-time during regular breaks, such as winter or summer break.
The student must be pursuing academic, vocational, or professional training of at least six months leading to a degree, diploma, or certificate at a designated learning institution (DLI).
