Student Direct Stream SDS
International student is eligible for faster processing through the SDS, if he/she must:
- Be a legal resident living in 1 of the following countries:
o Antigua and Barbuda
o Brazil
o China
o Colombia
o Costa Rica
o India
o Morocco
o Pakistan
o Peru
o Philippines
o Senegal
o Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
o Trinidad and Tobago
o Vietnam - Have an acceptance letter from a post-secondary designated learning institution.
- Live outside of Canada at the applying time
- Have proof of paying tuition for the first year of study.
- Have a Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) of CAN$10,000.
- Have a Certificat d’acceptation du Québec (CAQ) from the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration, if planning to study in Quebec.
- Get a medical exam prior to applying (if applicable)
- Get a police certificate prior to applying (if applicable)
- Have the most recent secondary or post-secondary school transcript.
- Have the result of a language test of at least 6.00 in each ability (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) on IELTS, or 7.00 in each ability (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) on TEF.
